It is never the will of God for believers to be borrowers and debtors. 

A borrower is a servant to the lender. Anytime you engage in borrowing, you confirm yourself to be a lifetime servant to your lender. 

The will of God for his children is to be lenders to many nations. Borrowing leads to financial slavery while a life free from borrowing is a life of supernatural abundance and financial freedom. To avoid borrowing, you must engage in business or have a source of income for livelihood. 

Five facts about the lifestyle of indebt and borrowing

1.    Borrowing establishes a person’s life into a lifestyle of slavery. (Proverbs 22:1)

2.    To continue in the lifestyle of borrowing is accepting the ticket of financial stagnation.

3.    Borrowing is an anti-covenant operation that nullifies the blessings of God in your life. (Deuteronomy 15:6), 28:12. Hate borrowing like you will hate sin.

4.    Borrowing empties your tomorrow into today. Borrowing helps you to spend the money that has not yet arrived. 

5.    Borrowing is a prove of bad management. God cannot entrust His resources into the hand of a bad manager.

6.    Borrowing is looking away from God’s own provision plan. Borrowing is a trick of the devil to enslave you. 

Things to do to be free from debt and borrowing are;

1.    Be the king that God wants you to be because kings do not borrow.

2.    Learn to manage the little that God gave to you until another provision is made.

3.    Work toward repaying all your present debt and be free.

4.    Vow not to borrow again no matter the situation and always wait and trust God to supply your need.
