THE BLESSING OF PARTICIPATION
There is no blessing in just hearing the’ word of God, the blessing is in doing what the word says (participation). God is a rewarder of people who do (participate) in what He instructs (James 1:25). Every of God’s blessing is manifested to those who do (doers/participators) of His word.
Participation means to join/take part/be involved in something. If you must truly partake in the covenant blessing, you must be an addicted participator of the kingdom service in your church, ministry of fellowship.
See this; but be doers (participators) of the word and not just a hearer only deceiving yourself. (James 1:22). The greatest tragedy that can happen to a man is to be a hearer and not a participator of God’s word. God is angry with those who are not involve or participating in his business.
In Luke 19:12-25, three men were given an assignment to participate in the kingdom business, two of them participated and the master was happy with them, but the one who refused was rejected and thrown into eternal punishment. Just as teachers in schools discipline and punish pupils or students who do not participate in the assignment given to them, God also does likewise. In God’s reward list, even the last person is rewarded, but he who does not participate is punished. I pray the spirit of participation will envelope you.
Listen to the last words of Jesus Christ, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). It is all about participating; Go ye and preach. In order to get God’s attention, you must be an addicted participator of His word. It is evil not to be a participator in the kingdom. See the words of Christ
here, “and He answered and said unto them, my mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it (Luke 8:21).
Jesus only identify with those who participate in His father’s work/business. In order to catch the attention of God, you must be a doer (participator). James 1:25, “But whose looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful, but a doer (participator) of the word, this man shall be blessed in his deeds”.
Hearing + Participation = the blessing
It is high time to step up into the arena of participating in the kingdom service in order to receive blessings here on earth and reward in your future home in heaven.
I release the grace upon you to be an addicted participator.
Here are few places your involvement or participation should be felt;
- Soul wining
- Constant fellowship with brethren
- Prayer and fasting
- Acquiring of knowledge
- Tithe and offering
- Rendering yourself in local assembly
- Community development
